When the official knife brand of the Austrian Special Forces – the renowned Italian manufacturer Extrema Ratio – releases a rescue knife, it's not just any knife, but the Ferrari of rescue knives. The Ferrum R , where the R stands for Rescue, is produced in Florence and crafted with Austrian steel; it is truly something special. Anyone who holds this knife with its three blades in their hand will immediately feel the exceptional quality for which Extrema Ratio is known worldwide.

The main blade of the knife is a ball-bearing mounted 3 mm thick working blade, partly smooth, partly serrated for cutting thick ropes.

The second blade is an interchangeable scalpel for extremely fine cuts; when reversed, the knife can be used to cut clothing.

The third and smallest blade is located on the back of the main knife and is designed for cutting smaller ropes or lanyards. Even aramid paracord is no problem.

The Ferrum R also features a glass breaker.

With its slim design, it fits into any uniform pocket, but thanks to the clip it can also be used in uniform loops or, for example, with our Gearkeeper equipment holder.

The Ferrum R is available in red or a tactical black.
